Hello Kitty Shimeji For Chrome Browser
Sanrio's Hello Kitty with her red bow strolls and waves across your Chrome tabs.
Hello Kitty Shimeji is part of Shimeji Buddy, a free Chrome extension that adds small animated characters to every web page you open. Switch Hello Kitty on and the buddy appears at the bottom of the page, walks around, climbs the sides of the window, sits on top of images and reacts when you click or drag it. It works on Google, YouTube, Reddit, your school portal and almost any other site.
What is Hello Kitty Shimeji?
A Shimeji (しめじ) is a tiny desktop mascot that lives on the edge of your screen. The idea started as a Japanese desktop-pet program and Shimeji Buddy brings it to the browser. Hello Kitty Shimeji is our chibi buddy inspired by Hello Kitty. It uses a hand-drawn sprite sheet with walking, climbing, falling, sitting and special animations, so it looks like a real little animation rather than a static sticker.

About Hello Kitty
Hello Kitty, created by Sanrio in 1974, is one of the most recognised characters on the planet with her white face, red bow and no mouth. Hello Kitty Shimeji keeps that clean, minimal look. She strolls politely along the bottom of the page, waves when you click her and sits down for tea when she is idle. My Melody, Kuromi and Cinnamoroll are available as companions from the same Sanrio family.
